The role partners closely with Analytics, Revenue Accounting, Revenue Operations, External Reporting, and GTM leadership, and reports to the Sr. Manager of GTM Finance. The position combines strategic finance, data storytelling, technical problem-solving, and operational execution. The manager will lead forward-looking planning and help scale forecasting infrastructure for a hybrid pricing model spanning subscription contracts and usage-based revenue. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Oakland, California or Denver, Colorado office, with two in-office days each week. The role supports a high-growth, cross-functional environment and is suited to someone who uses data and financial insight to guide strategy and operational execution.

  • 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, revenue finance, or investment banking, with a strong focus on revenue forecasting.
  • Expert-level Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills, with a commitment to formula-driven, driver-based, auditable, and well-documented models.
  • Working proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar scripting, and hands-on use of AI tools to accelerate and improve modeling, strategic analysis, and quality assurance.
  • Ability to take a model or process from ambiguity to a repeatable, documented workflow with minimal oversight, including quality assurance and reconciliation to source data.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for senior, non-finance audiences, with executive presence and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and executive presence.
  • Adaptability, resourcefulness, and enthusiasm for working in a fast-moving, growth-stage company.

  • Evolve forecasting frameworks using deterministic and AI/ML-driven approaches.
  • Build and maintain consumption-revenue forecasts, including committed versus overage usage, breakage, and customer migration between pricing models.
  • Advise and partner with the COO and CFO, and collaborate with Analytics, to provide actionable insights that improve efficiency, optimize investments, and accelerate growth.
  • Analyze GTM investment, pricing and packaging, and target setting; quantify revenue impacts of key risks and opportunities.
  • Support annual planning and monthly and quarterly forecast cycles; partner with Revenue Accounting on close, variance analysis, and forecast-to-actual tracking.
  • Own revenue and retention metric packages, including NRR, ARPA, new business mix, ROI, and cohort trends, and surface insights to the CFO, executives, and Board.
  • Use AI tools, SQL (BigQuery), and/or Python to automate data pulls, build repeatable and auditable models, and improve topline forecast accuracy, speed, and transparency.
  • Partner with Analytics, AI Transformation, and Systems on data quality, integrity, and self-serve reporting capabilities.
  • Create executive-ready reports, dashboards, and narratives that turn complex data, trends, forecasts, and strategic implications into actionable recommendations for Finance leadership and GTM stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance, review work, and help raise modeling standards and work-product quality across the GTM FP&A team.
