GTM Engineer

SentraNew York City, NY

About The Position

Sentra is seeking a founding GTM Engineer to join their GTM Engineering & RevOps team. This role will involve taking over production systems, owning them, hardening them, and extending them to automate more of the revenue lifecycle. The GTM team will be your user base, and you will be responsible for identifying revenue leakage, building systems to close gaps, and owning both the commercial reasoning and the AI systems that enable the team to act. You will build and enhance the revenue data platform and AI automations, including CRM-to-warehouse sync, enrichment and scoring pipelines, and revenue forecasting systems. You will operate these processes, improve them, and ensure their reliability. The role requires full ownership of the revenue lifecycle systems, from first touch to renewal, including demand capture, lead flow, pipeline, forecast, renewals, and expansion. You will also create analytics infrastructure to scale the business and ensure all published numbers are versioned and carry a reason. Driving adoption of built systems is crucial, treating non-adoption as a system defect. You will also work with LLM tooling as an engineer, not just a consumer, and have experience building systems where an LLM is a component in a pipeline, with a strong understanding of output verification. Agentic coding tools are part of the team's workflow.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in GTM operations, sales engineering, revenue operations, marketing operations or sales systems at a B2B SaaS company, preferably at high-growth startups scaling from $10M - $100M+ ARR.
  • Data & Git fluency: Ability to write joins and window functions for pipeline reports, identify incorrect numbers due to query errors, and proficiency with branches, pull requests, code review, and conflict resolution.
  • Practical scripting and API work: Proficiency in Python, TypeScript or JavaScript, including reading API docs, handling authentication, paginating responses, and managing rate limits.
  • Deep Salesforce knowledge: Ability to design object models, write and debug record-triggered flows, understand sharing and field-level security, and know when to use formula fields versus automation.
  • Enterprise marketing automation experience (Marketo strongly preferred; Pardot, Eloqua or comparable considered), including sync behavior, deduplication, and lead-to-contact matching.
  • Commercial judgment: Ability to explain what a stalled deal looks like in the data and its impact on quarterly results.

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance the revenue data platform and AI automations and workflows, including CRM-to-warehouse sync, enrichment and scoring pipelines, and revenue forecasting systems.
  • Operate, improve, and maintain the reliability of these processes.
  • Own the full revenue lifecycle systems management, from first touch to renewal, including demand capture, lead flow, pipeline, forecast, renewals, and expansion.
  • Create analytics infrastructure that allows decision-makers to scale the business.
  • Ensure every published number is versioned and carries a reason.
  • Drive adoption of built systems by measuring usage and treating non-adoption as a system defect.
  • Work with LLM tooling as an engineer, building systems where an LLM is a component in a pipeline and verifying output.
  • Take over production systems, own them, harden them, and extend them into unautomated parts of the revenue lifecycle.
