About The Position

Raylu is the AI origination engine for private markets, aiming to revolutionize how investors discover and engage with companies. The GTM Associate role serves as an entry point into enterprise sales, providing hands-on experience within real deals alongside leading private-markets funds. This position is primarily outbound-focused, involving opening doors at target funds, supporting deals through their lifecycle, and contributing to the development of sales strategies and playbooks. The associate will report to the Head of Sales and collaborate closely with AEs, product, and leadership teams. As an early member of the company, the role offers the opportunity to shape the outbound motion, including messaging, qualification criteria, and sales playbooks.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience in SDR/BDR roles, client-facing sales, or a finance-adjacent background (banking, PE, consulting, fintech).
  • Exceptional writing skills for crisp, specific, research-backed outreach.
  • Comfort with high-volume, high-quality outbound prospecting.
  • Ability to quickly learn a complex product and explain it simply to a sophisticated audience.
  • Fluency or ability to quickly gain fluency in modern sales tooling (CRM, sequencing, enrichment, AI-assisted research).
  • Genuine curiosity about private markets (sourcing, diligence, deal-making) and AI.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple senior-level conversations concurrently.
  • Coachability and comfort with operating without perfect information.
  • Competitive drive, resilience, and clear ambition for a quota-carrying role.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to PE/VC/LPs, investment banking, or capital markets teams (as a seller, operator, or prior career).
  • Familiarity with LLMs and the impact of AI on research and outreach workflows.
  • Prior success building outbound campaigns or running event programs from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic outbound prospecting into named institutional investors, including growth equity and private equity funds.
  • Achieve qualified-meeting and pipeline targets through email, LinkedIn, and warm introductions.
  • Design and test targeted outbound plays based on fund strategy, size, thesis, or trigger events.
  • Map stakeholders and qualify leads using a defined sales methodology to identify deal-moving pain points.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Raylu's product to articulate its value proposition to potential clients.
  • Support the company's presence at industry events, including pre-event outreach, on-the-ground meetings, and post-event follow-up.
  • Maintain pristine CRM hygiene and provide detailed context for deal handoffs to Account Executives.
  • Provide feedback from partners and MDs to refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), messaging, and product strategy.
  • Codify successful outbound strategies into messaging, qualification criteria, and playbooks for the sales engine.
