About The Position

Mangomint is launching a new AI product designed to reduce front-desk work and help beauty and wellness businesses serve their clients more effectively. As the first GTM hire for this product, you will help determine how we bring it to market and make customers successful. You will own the early customer journey from discovery and positioning through onboarding, activation, adoption, and ongoing learning. This is a hands-on operating role across strategy, growth, product, onboarding, and customer experience. You will report directly to the Head of New Product and have influence over both the customer experience and what we build next.

  • Strong written communication and the ability to turn messy customer feedback into clear internal recommendations
  • Versatility across customer conversations, operational execution, strategic analysis, and cross-functional problem-solving
  • Genuine interest in AI and how it can improve real-world business workflows

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test the initial GTM approach: Define early customer segments, use cases, positioning, messaging, and the customer journey
  • Work directly with customers: Partner with salon and spa owners and operators through discovery, demos, onboarding, and adoption
  • Drive activation and usage: Identify what creates customer value, where customers get stuck, and how we can improve activation, time-to-value, and ongoing engagement
  • Build repeatable processes: Create practical systems for qualification, demos, onboarding, education, support, and customer feedback
  • Partner with product and engineering: Turn customer conversations and usage patterns into clear product insights and priorities
  • Run focused experiments: Test messaging, onboarding flows, customer education, and follow-up motions, using metrics such as conversion, activation, time-to-value, usage, and retention
