This is a GTA Hiring Coordinator - Government Operations Consultant I position in the General Tax Administration Program’s Workforce Development – GTA Hiring Team. The incumbent, in consultation with hiring managers, ensures accurate job postings on People First and external sources; screens candidate profiles and resumes to ensure compliance with minimum job requirements; coordinates and administers skills verification tests; identifies applicants to interview, and ensures retention records are complete and accurate. The incumbent evaluates the effectiveness of recruitment efforts, uses web conference services to communicate with remote team members, and may participate in outreach and recruitment fairs.

Requirements

  • Currently employed with a State Personnel System agency or department.
  • Nine months of experience related to conducting recruitment and selection activities.
  • Experience interpreting and applying procedures, rules, or regulations.
  • Experience writing communications, providing guidance and direction to agency management, employees, and the public.

  • Experience with the requisition process in People First.
  • Experience conducting recruitment and selection activities within the State Personnel System.
  • Experience reviewing or screening employment applications or resumes.
  • Experience conducting quality reviews of written correspondence.
