Provides students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth. This role is responsible for planning, implementation, evaluation, and support of all G/T services, working collaboratively with principals and/or teachers to develop annual professional development plans for G/T staff, classroom teachers, and administrators. The coordinator also serves as the chairperson of the District Gifted and Talented Advisory Committee, manages the G/T budget, oversees campus G/T screening, and communicates with parents regarding G/T program acceptance and testing results.
