About The Position

This course explores various definitions that have been advanced for "peace" and "conflict resolution". Models of conflict resolution and transformation, the role of non-violence and peace movements will be explored.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Humanities or Social Sciences.
  • Demonstrated research expertise in the field of peace and conflict studies.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience in the field of peace and conflict studies.
  • Internal member of the CTF bargaining unit as defined by Article 13.7.2.17.
  • Submit a CV.
  • Submit a Candidate Application Form (CAF).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures for the GS232 – Peace Conflict Transformation course.
  • Grade assignments and exams.
  • Coordinate large classes or multi-section courses as per Article 28.3.
  • Provide supplementary remuneration for marking and grading allowance as per Article 28.2.
