About The Position

We are seeking a Growth Strategist to manage Meta paid advertising across Epic Gardening and Botanical Interests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategy, budget, campaign structure, and in-platform execution. This role requires a strong focus on creative strategy, including developing testing roadmaps, writing compelling hooks, storyboarding concepts, and working closely with an in-house videographer in rapid 48-hour cycles. The position also involves managing paid UGC and creator whitelisting, ensuring all advertising maintains the voice of a knowledgeable, friendly gardener to uphold brand integrity and the "By Gardeners, For Gardeners" promise.

Requirements

  • Personally owned and managed $2M or more in annual Meta spend, hands-on keyboard.
  • Strong direct-response creative instinct, with the ability to analyze retention curves and identify areas impacting CAC.
  • Ability to write hooks, edit short videos, and brief creators efficiently.
  • Independent Contributor (IC) mindset, focused on scaling impact through strategy and iteration rather than team building.
  • Genuine empathy for gardeners and a desire to help them succeed.

  • Previous experience as a founder of a small DTC brand.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Meta paid advertising across Epic Gardening and Botanical Interests, including strategy, budget, campaign structure, and in-platform execution.
  • Develop and execute creative strategy, setting the testing roadmap, writing hooks, storyboarding concepts, and managing a rapid hypothesis-to-launch cycle with an in-house videographer.
  • Manage paid UGC and creator whitelisting, briefing creators, evaluating output, and utilizing top performers in mid-funnel campaigns.
  • Ensure all advertising maintains a consistent and authentic voice, sounding like a knowledgeable, friendly gardener to protect brand credibility.
