About The Position

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. The Growth Operations Analyst manages important processes and is the subject matter expert on workflows and best practices within a processing team, and provides support and training to other team members. You will use your expertise to partner cross-functionally to design new tools and to produce the best processes and procedures across departments. You will report into the Associate Director of Sales Operations. This position is based in our Tempe, Arizona office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule.

Requirements

1+ years of work experience in health insurance, utilization management, or operations
1+ years of technical proficiency working with Google sheets, excel, and databases
1+ years of experience supporting building workflows, improving operations, or project management

Nice To Haves

A bachelor's degree, associates degree or equivalent work experience
Prior work experience in tech, healthcare, audit, or management consulting
Experience writing and running SQL queries

Responsibilities

Manage sales operations processes
Become the subject matter expert on workflows and best practices. Use this expertise to support the development of team members and support them on issue resolution.
Escalate issues through proactive identification and monitoring of processing to management or other teams and partner with them on resolution
Create workflow documentation and resources for the team
Lookup and pull data from databases using internal tools
Build relationships with company partners
Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Other duties as assigned
