About The Position

This is a founding role focused on Petra Labs' own growth, aiming to build the Go-To-Market (GTM) engine from the ground up. The primary goal is to generate qualified enterprise leads, create educational content for a nascent market, and run experiments across various channels to identify effective conversion strategies. As the first person dedicated to this function, you will own the strategy, shape the direction, and have direct communication with the founders. This role offers significant equity for early team members who are driven to build something impactful.

Requirements

  • Ability to think critically and resourcefully, figuring things out quickly across new channels, tools, or markets.
  • Growth mindset, with a focus on leverage, systems, funnels, and feedback loops.
  • Strong writing skills, capable of explaining complex technical services in clear language.
  • Analytical approach, prioritizing data and metrics like conversion rates, CAC, and pipeline velocity.
  • Self-directed with the ability to create playbooks.
  • Hunger to be early at a significant venture.
  • Ability to work in-person in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run targeted outbound campaigns targeting enterprise marketing leaders (VPs/CMOs) in new verticals.
  • Develop lead qualification frameworks to ensure targeting precision.
  • Create and optimize landing pages, email sequences, and paid campaigns.
  • Track and report on pipeline metrics, owning the funnel from awareness to qualified opportunity.
  • Write and produce content (blog posts, LinkedIn content, case studies, data reports) to educate the market on AI search optimization.
  • Translate client results into compelling proof points.
  • Support founders' thought leadership with ghostwritten content, talking points, and social strategy.
  • Set up and manage CRM, email automation, and analytics infrastructure.
  • Run rapid experiments to test channels, messaging, formats, and audiences.
  • Build repeatable playbooks for successful strategies and discontinue ineffective ones.
  • Manage marketing budget and track ROI.
