About The Position

Barkley&Co is a boutique growth studio for healthcare, wellness, and skincare brands. They work with founders and operators who need a partner to architect and manage the full funnel. The team is small, senior, and composed of ex-founders and ex-in-house growth leads. They specialize in paid media, lifecycle marketing, creative strategy, and brand development for a portfolio of clients in the healthcare, wellness, and skincare sectors. This role is for a Growth Lead who will be responsible for client strategy and outcomes across a portfolio of accounts. The Growth Lead will act as the strategic owner for 4 to 6 clients, developing full-funnel growth strategies and overseeing their execution across Owned (lifecycle, CRM, organic), Earned (content, PR-adjacent, AEO/SEO, influencer), and Paid (Meta, Google, emerging platforms) channels. The role involves direct collaboration with founders and CMOs, providing strategic guidance and a strong point of view, rather than just executing tasks. The position reports to the founder and works alongside a team of specialists.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7+ years in growth marketing, ideally a mix of agency and in-house experience
  • Real depth in at least two of the three pillars: Paid (Meta + Google), Owned (Klaviyo, Customer.io, or equivalent), and Earned (content, influencer, organic social, AEO/SEO). Plus working literacy in the third.
  • Managed meaningful paid budgets, personally responsible for $50K+/month in ad spend
  • DTC or services experience in regulated or considered-purchase categories such as healthcare, wellness, beauty/skincare, supplements, or similar
  • Client-facing skills, capable of running meetings with founders or CMOs
  • Ability to articulate a point of view on brand strategy and identify areas for improvement
  • Comfort with ambiguity and wearing multiple hats in a boutique agency environment

Responsibilities

  • Full-funnel strategy for 2 to 4 client accounts spanning healthcare, wellness, and skincare verticals
  • Client relationships, including weekly strategy calls, monthly business reviews, and quarterly planning
  • Channel orchestration across Meta, Google, Klaviyo, Customer.io, organic content, and creator/UGC programs
  • Performance accountability, including setting KPIs, defending numbers, and flagging issues proactively
  • Creative and brand judgment, reviewing ad concepts, lifecycle copy, landing pages, and brand messaging
  • Measurement and reporting, translating data into actionable narratives
  • Identifying growth opportunities within accounts and partnering with the founder on scoping
