About The Position

Cars & Bids is where automotive enthusiasts find, engage with, and sell great cars. We’re the fastest-growing online auction platform for enthusiast vehicles from every era, paired with a scaled media business across YouTube, the #1 automotive podcast (THIS Car Pod!), social, and events that reaches over 50 million enthusiasts each month. Since launching in 2020, we’ve hosted over 34K auctions and sold more than $740 million in vehicles. We are hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to focus on how our content, partnerships, events, paid marketing, social, and lifecycle work together to drive brand strength, seller conversion, and marketplace growth. This is a hands-on role focused on integration, prioritization, and measurable impact.

  • Experience owning growth or marketing outcomes, not just channels
  • Strong analytical instincts and comfort working directly with funnels and performance data
  • Ability to drive results through influence and leverage, not headcount
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and making hard tradeoffs

Responsibilities

  • Integrated growth & brand ownership: drive how content, partnerships, events, social, paid marketing, and lifecycle work together to deliver results. Lead integrated campaigns and brand moments with clear goals, messaging, and follow-through, ensuring partnerships and events create real downstream impact.
  • Social leadership: Set direction, priorities, and success metrics for social so it supports campaigns, brand moments, and conversion, with a focus on quality engagement and contribution to growth.
  • Performance marketing: Manage paid marketing strategy, budget, targets, and learning experiments. Guide execution, decide when paid is a growth lever, and stay accountable for performance quality, conversion, and insights.
  • Landing pages & lifecycle: own the marketing perspective on landing pages and lifecycle flows in close partnership with Product, focusing on messaging, education, and readiness. Define hypotheses, run experiments, and improve seller conversion and repeat behavior.
  • Measurement & analytics: Leverage growth and marketing metrics across brand, lifecycle, and conversion. Partner with Data and Product Analytics to ensure reporting is reliable and actionable, using data to make tradeoffs and clearly explain what’s working and why.
