About The Position

OpenEd is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to help expand educational opportunities for families across the country. The company's vision is a future where education is not limited by geography, rigid models, or outdated systems, and their mission is to provide every student with customized, world-class education and resources. This role involves quarterbacking new state launches, owning SEO strategy, driving website conversion, managing lifecycle marketing, developing word-of-mouth and referral programs, overseeing paid acquisition, and leading analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on growth marketer who is data-driven, action-oriented, and passionate about improving educational access.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2C/DTC growth or performance marketing experience acquiring consumers at scale (with B2C experience within the last 5 years).
  • Managed multiple markets, regions, or campaigns simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of paid search and paid social with a track record of generating qualified leads.
  • Experience managing agencies or external partners against performance goals.
  • Understanding of SEO strategy and technical SEO fundamentals.
  • Hands-on CRO, A/B testing, and landing-page experience.
  • Experience building lifecycle and email programs using marketing automation tools.
  • Proficiency in analytics and ability to translate numbers into action.
  • Ridiculously organized; sets dates, owns deadlines, and hits them.
  • Ability to juggle multiple channels, campaigns, and launches without losing focus.
  • Comfortable working independently and figuring things out.
  • Experience with Webflow (strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Quarterback new state launches from end to end, coordinating paid media, SEO, lifecycle, content, brand, and partnerships into a cohesive GTM strategy.
  • Continuously improve the launch playbook and integrate state-specific regulatory and market considerations into acquisition strategy.
  • Own SEO strategy and keyword priorities for enrollment-driving pages.
  • Guide technical SEO recommendations, including schema, metadata, heading structure, internal linking, URL structure, and on-page conventions.
  • Shape page templates and layouts for discoverability in search and AI-powered search.
  • Own conversion strategy for high-impact program pages, analyzing funnels, running A/B tests, and experimenting with landing pages.
  • Own lifecycle marketing across nurture, re-engagement, TOFU, MOFU, and referral journeys.
  • Build segmented, automated experiences to move families from initial interest to enrollment and advocacy.
  • Develop and implement referral mechanics into lifecycle flows and work with the ambassador program to make word-of-mouth growth deliberate and compounding.
  • Manage the paid media agency, establish growth targets, review performance, and push for better results.
  • Continuously test creative, audiences, and channels to increase awareness, qualified applications, and enrollment while improving efficiency.
  • Own state-level pipeline reporting and translate data into actionable decisions.
  • Track traffic, conversion by page and source, lead-to-enrollment rates, paid performance, word-of-mouth, referrals, and other acquisition sources.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for next steps.
