About The Position

M3 is seeking a Growth Marketing Consultant – B2B Strategy to help its businesses develop scalable, targeted marketing strategies that drive qualified sales conversations, client acquisition, and commercial growth. The consultant will partner with marketing and business development leaders across M3 subsidiaries to identify growth opportunities, develop B2B outreach strategies, and implement campaigns that generate measurable results. The role combines B2B marketing strategy, persona-driven outbound targeting, multi-channel sequencing, and hands-on campaign execution. The consultant will develop targeted growth programs, identify decision-makers at prospective client organizations, and turn market insights into actionable outbound strategies that generate qualified sales opportunities. Relevant experience includes B2B services, particularly healthcare services, professional services, staffing and recruitment, research, and other relationship-driven industries. This is focused on B2B demand generation, outbound marketing, and sales-aligned growth strategies rather than primarily paid advertising or traditional digital marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in B2B digital outreach, demand generation, or sales development, including at least 3 years owning persona-based marketing for outbound revenue generation.
  • Demonstrated success reaching senior decision-makers at complex B2B organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with sequencing platforms such as Outreach, Apollo, or HubSpot Sequences; LinkedIn Sales Navigator; contact enrichment and verification tools; and CRM integration.
  • Experience supporting or consulting for multiple business units, clients, or brands with distinct customers.
  • Ability to identify and verify the true buyer within a target organization—including budget owners, decision-makers, and influencers—and maintain disciplined outreach to that person rather than defaulting to volume.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to create short, specific messaging adaptable by persona and subsidiary brand.
  • Ability to use AI tools for research, personalization, and testing, with sound judgment about accuracy, brand, and disclosure.
  • Working knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR/UK GDPR, TCPA, and LinkedIn terms of service as they apply to outbound outreach.
  • Ability to independently manage several concurrent programs, prioritize across businesses, and report clearly to sales and marketing leaders.
  • Analytical fluency with campaign, deliverability, and CRM data, including the ability to build simple dashboards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience reaching senior decision-makers in healthcare or health systems, or experience selling recruitment, staffing, or physician placement services.
  • Understanding of how health systems, medical groups, and staffing firms recruit physicians and who owns those decisions.
  • Working knowledge of email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI), domain and IP warming, reputation monitoring, and inbox placement testing, and how Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Proofpoint, Mimecast, and similar filters treat outbound mail.
  • Hands-on experience with deliverability monitoring tools.
  • Certifications in email deliverability, sequencing platforms, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with marketing and business development leaders across M3 subsidiaries to identify growth opportunities and build targeted outbound strategies.
  • Build and own a full digital outreach path for each subsidiary, from identifying decision-makers for each product through qualified handoff to the business development team.
  • Define handoff criteria, follow-up cadence, and target account lists with subsidiary business development and marketing leads, and gather feedback on message performance.
  • Develop a repeatable outbound framework adaptable across business units, services, and buyer audiences.
  • Define buyer personas and target account segments for each business’s sales activity.
  • Identify budget owners, decision-makers, and influencers at target organizations, and grow contact lists using verified sources and research.
  • Develop personalized messaging tailored to the priorities of each audience and subsidiary.
  • Use M3 proprietary data assets, including its physician network and health-system relationships, to create a repeatable pipeline of qualified conversations through referrals and warm introductions.
  • Run multi-channel outbound sequences across email, LinkedIn, and other social and digital channels, tailoring messaging to each subsidiary.
  • Design outreach sequences, messaging frameworks, and follow-up strategies that build familiarity and generate qualified sales conversations.
  • Test and refine messaging to improve reply rates, positive-reply rates, and pipeline contribution.
  • Operate designated business units’ outreach technology stacks, including sequencing platforms and Sales Navigator; integrate with CRMs and recommend tools.
  • Use AI-assisted research and personalization to build account and contact intelligence and personalize at scale, with human review and M3 brand standards before messages are sent.
  • Coordinate with email deliverability specialists on authentication, IP warming, sender reputation, inbox placement testing, list hygiene, and compliance with Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft sender requirements.
  • Report weekly on placement, reply and positive-reply rates, and pipeline sourced by subsidiary and persona.
  • Use performance data to discontinue ineffective approaches, scale successful ones, and provide clear recommendations to business leaders.
  • Identify successful outreach strategies that can be replicated across M3 subsidiaries.
