Growth Manager

FoodaChicago, IL
$70,000 - $80,000Onsite

About The Position

Foodsby, a subsidiary of Fooda, operates as a startup focused on refining its product-market fit. We are seeking a resourceful problem solver who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys testing new strategies, and is adept at improving systems and processes as the business evolves. As a Growth Manager, you will be responsible for the reactivation and growth of a select group of Foodsby's large accounts. Your primary goal will be to experiment with various growth levers to increase account value and develop an effective activation process in collaboration with Foodsby's Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR). You will act as the main point of contact and owner for these key clients, developing strategies to enhance account value, executing these strategies, and continuously monitoring and iterating to establish a scalable and repeatable growth playbook for Foodsby. This role requires weekly in-office presence at Fooda's headquarters in Chicago.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in growth, account management, business operations, consulting, or another results-oriented role.
  • Proactive, resourceful problem solver who identifies opportunities, develops a point of view, and moves quickly from insight to action.
  • Energized by diagnosing growth challenges, testing new approaches, and determining what actually drives measurable results.
  • Ability to independently assess an account, identify the highest-impact opportunities, combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and comfortable personally driving the work needed to create momentum.
  • Highly experimental and comfortable forming hypotheses, running tests, learning from unsuccessful approaches, and iterating quickly.
  • Commercially minded and naturally look for ways to increase activation, engagement, order frequency, retention, and account value.
  • Comfortable creating structure in ambiguous environments without waiting for established processes, detailed instructions, or perfect information.
  • Communicate clearly and can align cross-functional partners around priorities, responsibilities, timelines, and desired outcomes.
  • Take ownership of results, maintain urgency, and persist in finding new paths when the first approach does not work.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Startup or early-stage business experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the reactivation and growth of a focused portfolio of high-potential Foodsby accounts.
  • Develop account-level growth strategies to increase employee awareness, activation, order frequency, retention, and overall account value within a 5-week timeframe.
  • Design and execute growth experiments across client communications, promotions, on-site activations, restaurant offerings, and other potential growth levers.
  • Partner closely with Foodsby’s Entrepreneur in Residence to define hypotheses, prioritize tests, evaluate results, and determine what should be scaled, refined, or discontinued.
  • Analyze account performance and user behavior to identify the highest-impact growth opportunities and establish clear targets for each account.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from clients and end users to identify barriers to adoption, unmet needs, and opportunities to improve the Foodsby experience.
  • Contribute to the development of Foodsby’s growth processes, tools, and operating standards as the business continues to refine its product-market fit.

Benefits

  • The salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000. The salary is dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to: work experience, training, location and skills.
