Growth Manager, Activations

ParaformSan Francisco, CA
$120,000 - $200,000

About The Position

Paraform powers the next generation of recruiting firms — helping top recruiters build six- and seven-figure businesses and hire for companies like Ramp, Decagon, and Hightouch. We treat recruiters like entrepreneurs, not vendors, and we build the infrastructure that powers their success. This is the front door of our marketplace. You'll own a book of newly onboarded recruiters and carry a monthly target: get them to real traction fast. You'll work each recruiter through the early funnel, diagnose with data where they're stalling, and do whatever it takes to unblock them — sometimes that's a sharp strategic nudge, sometimes it's answering a basic how-do-I question so they don't drop off. As you go, you'll help turn what works into a repeatable playbook the whole activations team runs on. It's analytical, fast, and hands-on. This is a high-ownership seat on a small team. You'll be in the weeds with recruiters every day, and the function itself is moving fast — getting more programmatic and product-led every quarter. It's demanding, detailed work for someone who likes to be in the thick of building something.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast, analytical, customer-facing or operational role — ideally one where you carried a number or a hard activity target.
  • Analytical horsepower. You're fluent with data and reason from root causes, not vanity metrics.
  • Systematizing instinct. You see the repeatable pattern in messy work and turn it into something reusable — you don't need a finished playbook, and you don't reinvent the wheel every time either.
  • Whatever-it-takes drive. You chase a goal hard and do the unglamorous work to hit it.
  • High slope + low ego. You take blunt feedback and get visibly better, fast. You're energized by an early-stage, fast-moving role.

Responsibilities

  • Carry an activation number. Own a monthly target for getting new recruiters to 5 final rounds in 30 days, and run at it relentlessly.
  • Work the funnel with data. Diagnose where each new recruiter is stalling — onboarding, first submissions, quality, concentration — and intervene where it moves the number most.
  • Do what it takes to unblock. Mix strategic coaching with hands-on support so new recruiters get to their first win before they lose momentum.
  • Build the playbook. Spot what's working across your book and help systematize it — templates, sequences, and programmatic plays the whole team can reuse.
