About The Position

OneDigital is seeking a high-impact Growth Leader to drive new business growth across Central/North Florida. This is a direct sales leadership role responsible for leading producers, recruiting top talent, building pipeline, improving conversion, and achieving market-level gross revenue goals. This leader owns the sales strategy for their assigned market and is fully accountable for building a disciplined, high-performance sales culture. As a sales leader, this role is ideal for a high-performing individual contributor or emerging sales leader ready to step into formal people leadership with direct accountability for market revenue performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or sales leadership.
  • Direct experience managing or mentoring producers with accountability for gross revenue performance.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience recruiting, coaching, and developing high-performing sales talent.
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to clearly articulate OneDigital's vision, strategy, and value proposition.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience required; experience in employee benefits, insurance, brokerage, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • An active Florida Life & Health License (or ability to obtain upon hire) required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools required.

  • Experience in employee benefits, P&C insurance, financial services, or adjacent industries such as HCM, payroll, or technology.
  • Background in a high-growth, performance-driven sales environment as a direct sales leader.
  • Applicable professional designations (RHU, REBC, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and directly manage producers to achieve individual and market-level gross revenue goals.
  • Own market sales performance, including new business revenue, pipeline creation, conversion rates, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Establish clear expectations, inspect pipeline and activity regularly, and hold producers accountable to performance standards.
  • Actively participate in key prospect meetings and strategic opportunities to improve win rates.
  • Coach producers through all stages of the sales process — prospecting, deal strategy, and closing.
  • Recruit, assess, and hire high-performing producers, including leading business plan development and candidate due diligence.
  • Become a mentor to producers and nurture relationships to help each team member achieve their individual goals.
  • Participate in continued learning and training for the industry and role.
  • Develop and execute localized go-to-market strategies in partnership with market leadership.
  • Partner with Marketing to drive campaigns, events, and referral strategies that generate qualified pipeline.
  • Build and leverage relationships with carriers, centers of influence, and referral partners to generate new business.
  • Use data and market insights to identify gaps, improve conversion, and refine sales strategy.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to ensure CRM accuracy, pipeline hygiene, forecasting discipline, and reporting visibility.
  • Manage sales pipeline and sales activities via company CRM (D365).
  • Ensure accurate reporting on lead generation and sales efforts, including pipeline status metrics.
  • Work with senior management to set and review sales and activity goals on a regular cadence.
