Alaska Seeds of Change provides horticultural programming and flexible activity spaces for AKBH providers to utilize with their clients. Our team maintains the growing systems, hydroponic operations, and shared environments that make these opportunities possible. In addition to cultivating plants and sustaining productive growing spaces, Seeds staff support in developing workplace and operational skills through hands-on learning experiences. By preparing and maintaining activity spaces, supporting therapeutic and educational programming, and fostering meaningful opportunities for participation, Seeds of Change helps create an environment where individuals can learn, contribute, build confidence, and grow alongside their communities. The Growth Coordinator supports the core operations of our hydroponic and outdoor growing systems, performing essential tasks such as planting, harvesting, packaging, and general maintenance. This position helps maintain functional, clean, and welcoming growing spaces that support Seeds operations and activities. The Growth Coordinator provides daily direction and hands-on training to the Operations Associates and Apprentices, supports their skill development, and works closely with the Service Coordinator to translate scheduled activity needs into organized staffing, space, station, and material preparation.
