Growth & Content Marketing Specialist (Bilingual)

SherpaMontreal, QC
CA$75,000 - CA$110,000Hybrid

About The Position

Sherpa builds the digital platforms behind some of the largest and most complex congresses, trade shows, and professional events in the world. Since 2009, our mobile apps and event platforms have supported organizers across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. We're adding a bilingual Growth & Content Marketing Specialist to our team. You'll own marketing for Sherpa end-to-end: from the newsletter and blog to case studies and sales collateral. You'll work closely with our founder and sales team to make sure our story reaches the right people, in the right words, at the right time.

Requirements

  • 5 years in a marketing role in B2B SaaS or a comparable industry (or equivalent experience), ideally in a small or growing company where you owned marketing broadly rather than one narrow slice of it.
  • A track record of producing and managing content for B2B services: case studies, blog content, newsletters, and sales materials.
  • Excellent writing and oral skills in English are essential.
  • Professional level in French, for day-to-day collaboration with the team and to ensure compliance with OQLF requirements.
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM tools and web analytics.
  • Comfortable using design tools to produce presentable materials without a dedicated designer.
  • Autonomous, resourceful, and comfortable wearing the many hats a growing SME requires.
  • Curious mindset and a structured, results-oriented approach.
  • Must be based in Greater Montreal and can work in a hybrid work environment.
  • Valid passport for occasional travel to industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Own Sherpa's content calendar, aligned with product milestones, industry events, and sales priorities.
  • Plan, write, and publish content for our newsletter, blog, and website.
  • Build and maintain the sales collateral our team needs: one-pagers, decks, proposal templates, campaign materials, etc.
  • Produce content based on the CEO and sales team's requirements.
  • Identify additional content topics (from client conversations and product updates to strategies that improve the attendee journey, increase engagement, and increase monetization).
  • Interview clients and internal teams to turn results into case studies and ROI-driven proof points that make the next deal easier to close.
  • Manage Sherpa's presence on LinkedIn and other industry-relevant channels.
  • Track performance across channels and projects (traffic, engagement, ROI).
  • Keep our marketing automation tools and lists in good shape.
  • Coordinate our presence at industry events: booth, materials, etc.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors as needed: designers, writers, etc.
  • Own the marketing budget and toolset and make the case for what we should invest in next.

  • Flexible work
  • Competitive compensation package
