About The Position

Clarendon Private (“Clarendon”) is seeking an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven professional to lead the firm’s organic growth and new client acquisition efforts. This person will expand Clarendon’s reach among high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, while cultivating relationships with centers of influence and strategic partners. Serving as a senior ambassador for the firm, they will identify prospective clients, create meaningful opportunities for engagement, and partner with wealth advisors to convert qualified opportunities into long-term client relationships. The role combines growth strategy, relationship development, and disciplined execution. The ideal candidate brings an established network, strong commercial instincts, and an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to build a repeatable growth platform while preserving Clarendon’s personal, relationship-driven approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Significant experience in business development, relationship management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives, founders, and sophisticated professionals.
  • Strong, expandable professional network.
  • Track record of originating opportunities and building pipelines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build new initiatives from the ground up.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with strong strategic and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with advisors and leadership.
  • High degree of judgment, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial markets and Macroeconomics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategy for organic growth and new client acquisition.
  • Identify attractive client segments, communities, and markets for growth.
  • Articulate and amplify a compelling narrative around Clarendon’s capabilities and customized client solutions.
  • Gather market feedback to continually refine positioning and strategy.
  • Source, cultivate, and qualify relationships with prospective clients, including founders, executives, business owners, and individuals approaching significant liquidity or financial transition events.
  • Build and deepen relationships with centers of influence, including attorneys, accountants, bankers, investors, and other trusted service providers who can create pathways to prospective clients.
  • Develop trust over time and identify the appropriate moment to introduce Clarendon and its advisory services.
  • Manage a disciplined pipeline from initial relationship through qualified prospect, advisor engagement, and conversion.
  • Partner with Clarendon wealth advisors throughout the prospect process, ensuring a seamless handoff to the client team.
  • Create opportunities for prospects to experience Clarendon through events, roundtables, and educational sessions.
  • Represent Clarendon at conferences and industry gatherings to build relationships and expand presence in target markets.
  • Develop opportunities for clients and partners to introduce the firm within their networks.
  • Build and manage a disciplined pipeline and CRM process, with clear stages from relationship to conversion.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting to measure pipeline quality, conversion, and client acquisition.
  • Lead regular pipeline reviews with leadership and advisors.
  • Use data and market feedback to continually refine the firm’s growth strategy.
