As a Growth Account Executive at GatherUp, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth. You’ll own our inbound leads creating pipeline and also responsible for closing single location opportunities excited to grow. Every day, you’ll work from a prioritized list of warm leads for businesses that have already expressed interest in GatherUp and manage a diverse pipeline or opportunities. Your role is to engage quickly, run thoughtful discovery, deliver concise and compelling demonstrations, and guide prospects to a confident decision in a high-velocity sales cycle. You’ll collaborate closely with the Director of Sales and the broader revenue team to continuously refine our messaging, improve conversion, and evolve our go-to-market strategy. This role is designed for someone who thrives with ownership, pace, and clear accountability.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a SaaS or tech sales environment
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills — you listen before you pitch
  • Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, data-driven sales culture
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or HubSpot) and a modern sales stack
  • A growth mindset — you take feedback well and are always looking to improve

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for Single Location leads from first conversation to close for inbound dialer leads and email responses
  • Run discovery and negotiations to convert SL leads into revenue
  • Own setting meetings with Multi-Location and Agency leads that come in as inbound dialer leads and email responses
  • Manage a high-volume book of leads with accuracy and discipline in CRM
  • Forecast meeting attainment weekly to sales leadership
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff and strong foundation
  • Continuously sharpen your craft through coaching, call reviews, and peer learning
  • Contribute to consistently updating a playbook to scale and grow the GAE role’s impact as part of a fast growing organization
