The Group Sales Specialist will enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. This role involves fostering relationships with key external contacts, attending networking functions to build connections for generating new leads for group business, and conducting property tours and attending trade shows as a property ambassador. The specialist will execute programs designed to attract group business, including database management, incentive packages, promotions, and telemarketing. They will meet with internal and external clients to determine objectives, budget, and timeline for events, and assist in creating supporting signage, collateral, venue layouts, contracts, and billing statements. Coordination with other departments such as Food and Beverage, Audio Visual, Information Technology, Guest Services, Transportation, Creative Services, Security and Surveillance is crucial to ensure all events meet casino standards and adhere to relevant Policies & Procedures. The role also involves coordinating and tracking all charges and payments relating to events in a timely manner, assisting with the strategy, budgeting, and execution of the Group Tours Charter Bus Program, and administering and maintaining thorough knowledge of the player tracking system. Additionally, the specialist will confirm the validity and implement the redemption of promotional offers associated with the Group Sales and Group Tours Programs and create and maintain an environment of mutual and reciprocal trust, respect, and confidence. Participation in various promotional activities of the Marketing Department is also required.
