Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in Hospitality with a minimum of 2+ years in Hospitality Sales.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Delphi, Excel, PowerPoint, ISAC & CITY.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in area of specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Forecast planning and implementation. Evaluates the Hotel’s revenue potential and participates in implementation of sales plans that meets or exceeds the annual sales forecast.
  • Reviews sales information to discern trends that might influence the success of the property.
  • Develops and creates innovative sales and marketing techniques to increase the department’s sales volume.
  • Participates in local civic and other activities to increase hotel's presence in the community and to obtain prospects & outside sales calls.
  • Coordinates sales activities with other relevant departments.
  • Occasional daytime or overnight travel to Tradeshows, Sales calls.
  • Works with guests/group attendees to review product/service enhancements to assure a quality guest experience while maximizing sales potential.
  • Ensures maintenance of filing system on company accounts and preparation of associated sales reports.
