About The Position

We are looking for someone to be the face of our hotel in the community. This role involves building relationships with existing and new clients, creating proposals for win-win scenarios, attending networking events, making calls, going to outside appointments, and enticing prospective clients. The goal is to ensure clients receive excellent service from first contact to the signed contract and to create amazing events and meetings for clients and guests.

Requirements

  • Laser focus and a tenacious entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Outgoing, warm & friendly.
  • Proven track record in sales.
  • Ability to recognize what a good piece of business looks like and how to close the deal.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to keep everyone in the loop as to what our guests will be expecting.
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty for the good of the team.
  • Ability to deliver results.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with existing clients and find and build relationships with new clients.
  • Put proposals together that make good business sense.
  • Go to networking events and stay connected with the news of our community and the industry.
  • Make phone calls, go to outside appointments, and entice prospective clients to come visit; creating “WOW”.
  • Go visit your clients and make sure they feel the love.
  • Attend an evening sales event now and then.
