About The Position

The Group Sales Coordinator is the "engine room" of the Sales department, acting as the right hand to high-performing Sales Managers. This role is crucial in turning potential leads into unforgettable group experiences, ensuring that every proposal, contract, and site visit is executed with flawless precision and genuine Texas hospitality for events ranging from corporate retreats to association gatherings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• English proficiency (read, write, speak).
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to type at least 40 WPM.
• Ability to maintain professional composure in high-stress, fast-paced situations.
• Ability to walk the resort, ascend/descend stairs, and reach the top drawer of a four-drawer cabinet as part of daily routine.
• A neat and pleasant overall appearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Delphi or event management software is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for new business, qualifying leads and distributing them to keep the revenue flowing.
• Master industry software (like Delphi) to build proposals, contracts, and track the sales funnel.
• Coordinate on-property tours for potential clients, ensuring the resort is presented at its best.
• Assist on-property and remote sales managers, ensuring they have the necessary resources to close deals.
• Manage the department’s shared drive and proofread high-level projects for accuracy.
• Process invoices for the Sales & Marketing team.
