About The Position

The Groups Rooms Coordinator is responsible for the building and management of groups and group attendees. This role involves running and analyzing reports, communicating with guests and ownership, performing gap analysis, and mitigating the risk of attendees having challenges. The position is full-time, primarily first shift with occasional weekends, and is located at Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center.

Requirements

  • One year experience in the hospitality industry required, preferably in the Front Office operations of a hotel.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge with a Hotel Property Management System required.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License with good driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage room blocks for all groups, inclusive of rates, alerts, and reporting as needed.
  • Assist Front Desk Agents with any issues checking in guests or rooming requests.
  • Oversee comparisons between Property Management System and Guest Registration System managing guest special requests and preferences.
  • Manage the Transportation Dashboard, analyzing data, and communicating with guests missing registration and transportation information.
  • Run various reports and produce routine critical analytics.
  • Resolve reporting issues.
  • Identify and manage unique stay patterns and guest needs.
  • Support system testing, problem solving, and system innovation.
  • Support Front Office such as front desk, comm center, bell stand and valet parking operation as needed.
