About The Position

Mitutoyo America Corporation is seeking an experienced Group Product Manager to lead our Product Management team and help drive the growth and market success of our product portfolio. This is a highly collaborative leadership position for someone who combines product management expertise, business acumen, market insight, and people leadership. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Customer Support, Purchasing & Planning, and Mitutoyo’s global teams to bring new products and solutions to market, strengthen competitive positioning, and turn strategic initiatives into actionable business results.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or a related discipline.
Experience leading product launches and cross-functional initiatives.
Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees while managing multiple business priorities.
Ability to develop strong working relationships across technical, sales, marketing, and operational teams.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Nice To Haves

3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

You should be comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution, using market and competitive information to make informed recommendations, and helping your team translate product strategy into measurable results.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the Product Management team, including performance management, training, work assignments, and succession planning.
Help develop and execute business plans, product strategies, growth initiatives, and market development programs.
Lead cross-functional launches of new products, software, and solutions.
Drive market research, competitive intelligence, market-share analysis, and pricing recommendations.
Partner with Sales leadership on pricing, promotions, product positioning, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with Marketing to develop product messaging, launch materials, digital content, and product stories.
Oversee product training and sales-enablement resources for Sales, Technical Support, and other internal teams.
Monitor product launches, promotions, and campaign performance and recommend actions based on results.
Support inventory planning and demonstration product requirements in partnership with Sales and Purchasing & Planning.
Maintain accurate product information, pricing resources, and competitive intelligence.
Utilize approved AI, automation, and analytical tools to improve market research, competitive analysis, content development, and Product Management productivity.
