$210,800 - $295,200

About The Position

Reddit is seeking a Group Product Manager to lead the product management of its Finance SaaS portfolio, encompassing systems for treasury, planning, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, quote-to-cash, payroll, and equity. This is a player-coach role where the individual will manage a team of SaaS product managers while also owning a set of applications personally. The role is central to Finance and AI Transformation, requiring strategic influence, executive advisement, and the translation of high-level strategy into measurable business outcomes. The Group Product Manager will define the product vision and roadmap for the Finance SaaS landscape, make build-vs-buy decisions, drive adoption, and manage vendor relationships. They will partner closely with the Enterprise Architecture & Engineering team, owning the 'what, why, and when' of system development. A key focus will be on championing AI-first finance strategies to enhance efficiency and scalability through intelligent automation. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating complex finance processes into efficient systems, thrives at the intersection of business and technology, and desires both leadership and hands-on product involvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in product management, business/finance systems, or finance transformation, including 2+ years directly managing people.
  • Demonstrated ownership of Finance SaaS platforms across multiple domains (ERP, EPM/CPM, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, treasury, or payroll).
  • Track record of building and running a product/intake operating model: roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, release and change management.
  • Strong vendor management chops: selection, renewals, SLAs, and influencing vendor roadmaps.
  • Prior people management experience, with a track record of developing PM or systems-analyst talent.
  • Strong ability to operate across abstraction levels: comfortable in an executive roadmap discussion and in the configuration details of a specific platform.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to frame a portfolio strategy for a CFO and a sprint priority for an engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls, audit readiness, SOX requirements, data quality, and compliance impacts.
  • Experience defining close transformation roadmaps, reconciliation strategies, reporting readiness plans, and UAT strategies.
  • Proven success scaling products and owning business outcomes in high-growth, complex environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a high-growth public technology company
  • Familiarity with Reddit's existing Finance tech stack (NetSuite, Workato, Adaptive, Zip, Coupa, Ramp, Workday, Salesforce or comparable) or similar environments
  • Familiarity with advertising platforms and transformation initiatives spanning quote-to-cash or procure-to-pay workflows
  • Experience supporting M&A workstreams (diligence, integration, cutover)
  • Exposure to SOX compliance considerations in finance systems
  • Background partnering with Corporate Engineering or shared-services models

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for Reddit's Finance SaaS portfolio across P2P, R2R, QTC, payroll & equity, and treasury/investments/EPM.
  • Act as the lead for Finance & AI Transformation, driving the shift from manual processes to AI-enabled workflows, identifying AI use cases for automation and anomaly detection, and fostering data-driven innovation.
  • Translate Finance's priorities (e.g., close acceleration, scalability, public-company rigor, M&A) into a sequenced, defensible roadmap.
  • Lead build-vs-buy and vendor selection decisions, serving as the product voice in Finance technology investments alongside the Enterprise Architect.
  • Define and enforce a consistent product operating model across the team: intake, prioritization, release management, change management, and adoption measurement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Finance processes through AI-enabled workflows, reconciliations, anomaly detection, approval copilots, and close automation.
  • Drive roadmap prioritization using measurable outcomes such as close cycle reduction, automation rates, SOX compliance effectiveness, and Finance productivity improvements.
  • Establish a single, transparent demand pipeline for Finance stakeholders.
  • Assess end-to-end finance processes to identify manual workflows, process gaps, control weaknesses, data quality issues, and opportunities for AI-powered solutions.
  • Create a cross-functional decision framework for Finance capabilities, including ownership, intake, prioritization, readiness criteria, and business sign-off.
  • Identify, design, and launch new features and system capabilities that enhance user efficiency and drive incremental business value.
  • Partner with finance leadership to enable AI use across teams, promoting a 'finance engineer' mindset.
  • Drive end-to-end finance transformation initiatives across Quote-to-Cash (QTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Hire-to-Retire (H2R), ensuring alignment with long-term scalability.
  • Advise senior Finance and Tech leadership on roadmap trade-offs, balancing speed, risk, and long-term impact.

  • Set clear direction and priorities for each domain, and create space for high-quality product work.
  • Develop the team's craft through roadmap review, stakeholder coaching, and regular 1:1s.
  • Serve as an escalation point and thought partner for PMs facing ambiguity, contention, or friction.
  • Build the team's capacity by defining coverage models, identifying gaps, and growing the function.
  • Maintain direct ownership over a specific set of applications, leading their product roadmaps and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Run intake, prioritize enhancements, manage releases, and partner with Finance and Engineering for personal portfolio delivery.
  • Own Finance SaaS vendor relationships at the portfolio level: renewals, SLAs, roadmap influence, escalations, and spend rationalization.
  • Bring a demand-management mindset to intake, helping stakeholders articulate needs and size work effectively.
  • Partner with Procurement and Finance leadership on tooling spend, contract timing, and consolidation opportunities.
  • Maintain a clear view of total cost of ownership and license utilization across the stack.
  • Act as the primary product liaison for Finance leadership, translating business requirements into roadmap decisions and communicating tradeoffs.
  • Partner with FP&A, Technical Accounting, Revenue, Treasury, Payroll, and Finance Operations to understand pain points and surface system improvements.
  • Work with the Enterprise Architect and Engineering team to land integrations, data quality, and technical delivery.
  • Support M&A activity, including systems due diligence, gap analysis, integration sequencing, and adoption planning.
