This is a cross-cutting capability that other groups, programs, and application areas rely on. This role requires deep technical credibility in research computing or computational science, a proven record of developing researchers and leaders, and the ability to prioritize across infrastructure stewardship, methodology development, and direct embedding in application-area teams. Success is measured by the group's collective impact, including the quality of its science, staff development, partnership strength, and operational/safety excellence.
