About The Position

Dal-Tile is seeking a dynamic Group Leader to oversee warehouse associates with all shipping and receiving needs daily. This role leads warehouse associates involved in shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing, and ensures the function is operating efficiently. The Group Leader may perform duties involved with picking, shipping, receiving, checking, loading/unloading, and/or putaway. They provide direction to warehouse associates for assigned functions, hand out orders, and assign work as needed to meet daily work schedules and production goals. Additionally, they train new employees, provide guidance to warehouse associates, monitor equipment or processes and report problems to a supervisor, and follow standard operating and safety procedures. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized area is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
1 or more years logistics/distribution experience.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Good record keeping skills.
Good listening skills.
Accurate measurement capability.
Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

Leads warehouse associates involved in shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing.
