About The Position

AlphaBEST Education is seeking a Group Leader for the 2026-2027 School Year in Wellington, Colorado. This part-time role offers the opportunity to lead a meaningful before- and after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. AlphaBEST provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment, takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience, takes child safety seriously, and is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required
CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
Must be 18+ years of age for Group Leader.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by CO childcare licensing regulations
Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations (verification of hours)

Nice To Haves

Additional education preferred
Preferred to have a minimum of 455 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+)
16+ years of age for Group Lead Assistant
