About The Position

Provide quality care for school-aged children in a clean, safe environment, before and after school. Additional hours are also available for day camps that are held when Harford County Schools are closed.

Requirements

• Must be group leader certified.
• Be at least 19 years or older
• Hold a high school diploma
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Meet one of the following for group leader certification: a) 6 semester hours of 90 clock hours or their equivalent of approved pre-service training b) 9 clock hours of approved pre-service training in communicating with staff, parents, and the public, or at least one academic college course for credit. c) 3 clock hours of training in ADA compliance
• Meet one of the following for group leader certification: a) 400 hours of experience working under supervision primarily with school-age children in a licensed child care center, public or private school, or 400 hours of experience caring for school-age children as a registered family day care provider. b) 1 year of college c) Combination of experience and college that together are equivalent to 1 year.
• Must be energetic, creative and exhibit a commitment to customer service and caring for children.
• Must be responsible and flexible.
• CPR/First Aid certifications required.
