About The Position

The Group Lead assists employees in the Macon area with training, workforce planning, and efficiency oversight. The role coordinates staffing coverage, new-hire onboarding, training for new and established staff, competency development, and ongoing productivity within the Care Group, while supporting initiatives such as Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM). The Group Lead does not provide direct patient-facing care; instead, the role organizes, coaches, and problem-solves across team training and staffing. The position partners closely with regional leadership and the Training & Education Department to build a consistent, competent, resilient, and patient-centered workforce. This position works daily in the Macon office. It is a full-time, salary-based, eight-hour position with a stated schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The employer is a physician group serving South Carolina and Georgia, providing primary care, specialty services, and pharmacy support in care facilities, homes, clinics, and through virtual visits. The Group Lead implements role-specific training plans; coordinates onboarding and ongoing education; conducts competency assessments and coaching; communicates best practices, protocol changes, and regulatory requirements; and manages current and forward-looking staffing coverage. The role monitors schedule health and staff productivity, addresses inefficiencies, proposes coverage solutions, and escalates training or performance concerns to regional leadership.
