Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds with or without assistance.
  • Must be willing and open to working all shifts.
  • Must be able to use a calculator and demonstrates the ability to or shows the aptitude to comprehend elementary mathematics.
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and address customer required demands.
  • Must be willing to coach, train and hold employees accountable for their performance and conduct.
  • Must possess good command of the English language both orally and written
  • Must be flexible in order to cover others shifts as needed.
  • High school or GED equivalent.
  • 2 years’ experience in a distribution warehouse environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Boeing manufacturing related experience.
  • Aerospace specific related experience.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure production requirements and revenue goals are met.
  • Ensure all employees are trained; set quality outcomes and goals; organize and assign work; maintain a safe, productive and motivational working climate.
  • Set example for subordinates.
  • Oversee all daily warehouse operations to ensure production requirements and revenue goals are met.
  • Interface with area leads and support organizations as required to accomplish assignments and daily production.
  • Support zero backlog expectations.
  • Make recommendations regarding facilities, supplies, equipment and manpower to maintain schedules.
  • Coordinate quality control and inspection procedures within all departments.
  • Maintain and assure that all associated documentation is correct, complete and accessible for review and audits.
  • Assure all employees receive necessary training and coaching to achieve success in their assigned work centers.
  • Assist in warehouse training activities by conducting training or revising training standards as work statements evolve.
  • Maintain Performance Records (Metrics Outcomes).
  • Support the safety practices of all employees and the environment of assigned work center.
  • Audit use of safety devices, equipment and general housekeeping.
  • Maintain constant alert for hazardous conditions and report with proper urgency.
  • Hold all employees accountable for their personal safety.
  • Ensure weekend coverage requirements are met, including any weekend work and/or On Call requirements.
  • Must wear required safety protective equipment as required. (i.e. safety glasses, ear and foot protection).
