About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead for their Second (2nd) Shift. This role is crucial in leading and supporting site training and development programs, designing and delivering engaging training, and maintaining training programs for WMS-related processes and warehouse operations. The position involves training on SOPs, creating work instructions, conducting new-hire and cross-training, evaluating training effectiveness, and partnering with operations leadership to ensure employees meet safety, quality, and productivity standards. The Group Coordinator Lead will also serve as a subject matter expert on warehouse processes, MHE operations, and WMS functionality, providing ongoing coaching and support to associates. Additionally, they will assist leadership with special projects and other operational responsibilities. The role reports directly to the Supervisor and is responsible for training associates, monitoring production, providing feedback, and ensuring high customer standards.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required.
  • 6-12 months warehouse experience
  • 6-12 months forklift operation experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support site in the execution of training and development programs.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging classroom and operational training presentations.
  • Maintain training programs for WMS-related processes and warehouse operations.
  • Train on site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and customer-facing process documentation.
  • Prepare detailed work instructions for operational functions and system processes.
  • Conduct new-hire training, onboarding, and cross-training for associates and temporary staff.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with operations leadership to ensure employees are trained on safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on warehouse processes, MHE operations, and WMS functionality.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to associates to improve performance and operational compliance.
  • Assist leadership with special projects and additional operational responsibilities as assigned.
  • Assign work schedules, train associates, and monitor associate progress for the work group.
  • Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to work group.
  • Manage daily workloads.
  • Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
  • Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
  • Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
  • Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
  • Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
  • Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.
