The Group Housing Coordinator will be the key room reservations contact for group programs, from the initial turnover process until the event date. This role ensures that proper notes, billing, and special requests are completed accurately. The coordinator will attend weekly pick-up meetings and assist in group forecasting. They will consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service, and prepare and send rooming lists, pick-up reports, and other information to group contacts. Maintaining good working relationships with the Global Reservations Centre, Travel Agents, and external/internal guests is crucial. The role involves responding to all reservation requests and incoming calls courteously, efficiently, professionally, and in adherence to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards. Additionally, the Group Housing Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Group Housing Manager and action items as required.
