About The Position

Stepping Out, a division of Options Residential, Inc., provides Community Residential Services to adults with Prader-Willi syndrome in 4-person group homes in Hastings, Minnesota. We are seeking a Program Coordinator / Group Home Supervisor to lead one of our program sites. This role is responsible for the daily operations of a specific program location, ensuring Person-Centered service delivery and promoting an inclusive environment. The Program Coordinator will provide direct care to residents and supervise Direct Support Professional Staff at their location.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
  • An associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
  • A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited post-secondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR
  • A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications of Program Supervisor I or Designated Coordinator/Manager level as defined by the Department of Human Services 245D license standards.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must be able to pass a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study.
  • Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Background check for driving positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and training in Prader-Willi syndrome is strongly preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily operations of one specific program location.
  • Promote Person-Centered service delivery.
  • Implement, promote, monitor, and create an inclusive environment.
  • Assure that core Stepping Out philosophy and programs are adhered to consistently by all staff.
  • Work directly with residents, providing direct care.
  • Supervise the Direct Support Professional Staff at that location.
