About The Position

The Supervisor – Assembly will supervise the single door line, by planning, assigning, and monitoring the work of assigned staff; filling in for absentees as needed. This position is responsible for manufacturing equipment, managing personnel, while ensuring that the plant produces a quality product on time. This supervisor will ensure that all employees follow the prescribed safety guidelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational and leadership skills
Ability to use and read measuring devices
Attention to detail
Basic mathematic skills

Responsibilities

Provides direction and leads by example.
Organizes workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
Overseeing and coaching employees; including disciplinary action.
Ensure safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
Cross train current employees to ensure workflow expectations are met.
Ensure the final product created by your team is made in accordance with the highest level of safety and efficiency to meet standards of quality.
Responsible for various daily production reports.
Oversees, monitors, and maintains all aspects of direct reports time sheets and approval of PTO / UPTO requests.
Enforce safety guidelines and company standards.
Provides employees with tools and opportunities to achieve production goals.
Maintains a clean and safe environment for all employees.
Participates in the interview process for potential employees.
Conduct semi-annual and annual reviews for direct reports.
Other duties as assigned.
