Chrysalis is seeking to hire full-time or part-time Group-Home Staff. This entry-level position involves supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, meaningful lives. The role offers swing shifts and graveyard shifts, providing schedule flexibility. It's a rewarding opportunity in human services where you can make a real difference. As Group-Home Staff, you will support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Your support will be needed in various areas of daily living.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus, but we're willing to train you.
Responsibilities
- Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible.
- Participate in fun activities.
- Assist with budgeting.
- Assist with meal preparation.
- Help individuals try new things.
- Assist with shopping.
- Mentor individuals to learn new skills.
