About The Position
Chrysalis is seeking to hire full-time or part-time Group-Home Staff. This role supports individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, meaningful lives. The position offers swing shifts and graveyard shifts, making it flexible for various schedules. It is an entry-level opportunity in human services where you can make a difference. As a Group-Home Staff, you will support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living including participating in fun activities, budgeting, meal preparation, helping individuals try new things, shopping, and mentoring individuals to learn new skills.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus, but we're willing to train you.
Responsibilities
- Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives as independently as possible.
