About The Position

Marrakech is hiring Program Counselors, also described as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), to support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in residential group homes. The role helps people live safe, fulfilling lives by building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice. The work is person-centered, with dignity, respect, and meaningful connection at its core. Paid training is provided, and experience supporting people with disabilities is helpful but not required. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Connecticut driver's license.
Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily living skills, including personal care, meals, and routines.
Support medical needs and appointments.
Follow individualized support and behavior plans.
Encourage community involvement and social engagement.
Complete routine overnight safety checks for overnight staff.
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
