About The Position

We are looking for a committed and experienced Group Home Manager to oversee one of our group homes, apartments or supported living locations. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field & one year of experience OR A combination of education and experience which in the judgement of the hiring body, meets the qualification standards ensuring satisfactory job performance
• Supervising experience
• Active Driver's License
• Previous experience working in a group home setting with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
• Strong multitasker
• Compassion and ability to see the potential in everyone
• Positivity and a team-player attitude

Responsibilities

• Overseeing adult aged residents at your particular group home, making sure they are properly cared for, safe and happy.
• Directly training and supervising all house staff to make sure they are staying up to date with the needs of the residents & their own required trainings.
• Work collaboratively with the Director of Residential Services, staff, nurse consultants, DDS case managers, behavior consultants and others to aid in implementing the individual plans of the residents.
• Work with families, parents & guardians to ensure they know their family member at our group home is living a happy, rewarding and meaningful life.
• Make a lasting impact and lead a team that does all it can to assist the residents in living the life they choose & be instrumental in making their house a home.
