About The Position

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is a Weekends Only Caregiver position. The schedule is every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. Extensive caregiver experience in a GROUP HOME setting is required. This position requires someone who has a valid Driver's License for at least 1 year after permit period and a clean Motor Vehicle Record that meets Sevita's insurability policy. You will be proud of rewarding work helping people grow, learn, and live well, develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve, experience ownership and trust from your leaders to do what’s right for participants, take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities, and support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. You’ll assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Requirements

  • Extensive caregiver experience required in GROUP HOME setting
  • Valid Driver's License for at least 1 year after permit period
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record that meets Sevita's insurability policy
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
