About The Position

The Group Fitness Manager manages and oversees the group fitness program at a single location, with a strong emphasis on upholding brand standards and developing instructors to provide an exceptional member experience. The role leads group fitness operations at the gym level and works with the Personal Training Manager, General Manager, Fit Fusion management team, and Crunch Franchise GF Regional Director to promote programming, enhance the member experience, and support revenue and retention. Compensation is $20.00–$23.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of group fitness management experience.
Current national group fitness certification.
Current CPR certification.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Fitness industry specialization.

Responsibilities

Serve as the main contact for group fitness programming at the gym level.
Recruit, staff, develop, and directly supervise the instructor team.
Communicate gym-level changes to instructors and club management.
Implement and supervise the class schedule for all studios.
Oversee programming to ensure class offerings suit the location’s demographics and gym usage.
Conduct instructor training on new formats and programming; new club installs are performed by Crunch Franchise.
Evaluate instructors to ensure quality and alignment with Crunch brand standards.
Supervise rollout of new programming and classes.
Design and implement special group fitness and HIITZone events to increase class participation, promote the Crunch brand, and drive Peak Results sales.
Cross-promote personal training and group training to support gym revenue and retention.
Ensure class participation numbers are reported accurately on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for the region.
Submit weekly group fitness reports to the gym-level management team.
Oversee gym-level social media use for group fitness promotion.
Attend scheduled weekly meetings with the gym-level management team.
