About The Position
In search of Part-time Group Exercise Instructors for a Step and/or Senior Fitness class at the Lake Community YMCA - Weekday mornings.
Requirements
- Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- CPR and AED certification preferred, but will provide
- Certification from nationally-recognized fitness accreditation agency
- Able to teach multiple formats, preferred
Responsibilities
- Meet and greet the members with enthusiasm
- Design class format appropriate for type of class and participants
- Serve as a good role model
- Communicate with team members
- Address difficult situations by using the YMCA Character Values as a guide
