About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Group Coordinator Lead to join their team. In this role, you will be an integral part of one of the world's largest logistics companies, which has been certified as a Great Place to Work® in the US and Canada. The core purpose of this position is to assign work schedules, train associates, and monitor their progress within the work group. You will provide day-to-day direction and guidance, manage daily workloads, and ensure the smooth operation of the team. Key responsibilities also include operating a Sit-down Forklift, leading a small team, and verifying shipping paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments.

Requirements

• 6-12 months warehouse experience
• 6-12 months forklift operation experience

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• A minimum of 6 months experience operating material handling equipment specifically a sit-down forklift
• A minimum of 6 months leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Operating a Sit-down Forklift
• Leading a small team
• Verifying shipping paperwork and inbound/outbound shipments
• Assigning work schedules
• Training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing
• Providing day-to-day direction and guidance to work group
• Responsible for daily workloads
• Conduct training for new associates
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs
• Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility
• Monitor performance of associates within the work group
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates
