About The Position
The Group Coordinator Lead - Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory by verifying orders received and shipped. The role leads workflow and allocates work duties across Inventory, Receiving, Shipping/Pack-out, Staging, and Order Selecting areas, while also operating forklifts throughout the shift. The position assigns work schedules, trains associates in processes, and monitors their progress and performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of warehousing and inventory experience.
- Working knowledge of the SAP inventory system.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage workflow and allocate work duties across Inventory, Receiving, Shipping/Pack-out, Staging, and Order Selecting areas.
- Operate forklifts throughout the shift.
- Perform the duties of an inventory control clerk.
- Verify orders received and shipped to maintain accurate inventory.
- Assign work schedules and train associates in processes.
- Conduct training for new associates.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Monitor associates’ progress and performance within the work group.
- Report unsafe conditions to a supervisor when they cannot be self-corrected.
- Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required.
- Ensure accurate accounting of and disposition of defective or damaged product.
