About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead - Inventory Control Clerk. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory by verifying orders received and shipped, and for directing the work group’s daily workload. The coordinator assigns work schedules, trains associates, monitors their progress, and provides day-to-day direction and guidance. The position also performs inventory control clerk duties and helps ensure accurate accounting and disposition of defective or damaged products.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of warehousing and inventory experience.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience and leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of the SAP inventory system.
• Forklift experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or skills in leadership, supervision, production, warehouse work, general labor, quality control, material handling, or dock stocking.

Responsibilities

• Assign work schedules and manage the work group’s daily workload.
• Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to associates.
• Train new associates in processes and communicate work practices, procedures, and methods.
• Monitor associate progress and performance within the work group.
• Maintain accurate inventory by verifying orders received and shipped.
• Perform inventory control clerk duties.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Report unsafe conditions to a supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Ensure accurate accounting and disposition of defective or damaged products.
