Requirements

Safety first attitude required.
Ability to pass a criminal background and pre-employment drug screen.
Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record.
Basic knowledge of plant operation, conveyor systems, and maintenance.
Experience working around plants and/or rock crushers.
Good mechanical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others and follow directions.
Must be able to work overtime and be flexible with hours (daytime/nighttime).

Equipment operation skills helpful.

Responsibilities

Ensuring daily maintenance of the plant and yard is completed.
Performing routine and daily housekeeping duties to ensure a clean plant and yard.
Safely and properly performing maintenance tasks such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
Shoveling excess material away from crusher, screen, or wash plant areas.
Operating small, powered hand tools.
Lifting, carrying, and holding material, tools, and supplies.
Assisting with daily errands, including delivering parts/items between Knife River locations.
