About The Position

Understands the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and trains groundkeepers in accordance with the PWS and Scope of Work for the assigned contract. Fulfills contractual requirements by maintaining an attractive, sanitary and safe facility for clients, employees, staff and public; minimizing property damage, loss and liability exposure. Work will be accomplished in a safe and productive manner following all OSHA standards. Work is generally performed during the day and evening in order to meet Government Contract Specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• One (1) year of grounds maintenance experience.
• One (1) year of supervisor experience.
• Must be able to drive a vehicle with trailer.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license with no flags or penalties.
• Must possess a working mobile phone and number.
• Must pass a background screening, drug screening, and driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Trains groundkeepers in accordance with the PWS and Scope of Work for the assigned contract.
• Maintains an attractive, sanitary and safe facility for clients, employees, staff and public.
• Minimizes property damage, loss and liability exposure.
• Accomplishes work in a safe and productive manner following all OSHA standards.
• Operates grounds equipment.
• Sprays insecticides and applies fertilizers.
